NPTI courses begin at 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) and conclude at 4:30 PM (Eastern Time).
Some course schedules may vary based on content and class size. There will be a lunch break from approximately 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM and various breaks throughout the day.

NPTI sends all exams to STI and they will contact you directly with the results.
STI – Steel Tank Institute
Throughout the year NPTI hosts the Steel Tank Institute’s SP001 AST Inspector Course. Many of aboveground tanks will require periodic inspection because of revisions to the USEPA SPCC rule. This aboveground Tank System Inspector Training provides STI certification for inspecting shop-fabricated aboveground tanks, portable containers and small field-erected tanks.
For more information on this course or to register please go to www.steeltank.com.
The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) requires that personnel be certified to work on or inspect regulated Underground Storage Tanks.
